The Report

Most acoustic measurements are made to determine if a building element or noise source meets statutory requirements or Australian and international standards. Examples of statutory requirements are:

i)   residential noise levels as specified by the EPA or local government for noise produced by commercial activities
ii)  acoustic-construction requirements stated in the BCA, and
iii) speech intelligibility and privacy as recommended by standards.
iv) occupational health guidelines

The measurement data that we obtain on site usually needs to be processed in the office to obtain the required information.  The results of each measurement and any processing are presented in a report that is suitable to present to statutory bodies such as local councils and will withstand peer scrutiny.
